State Fair

Her first trip to the State Fair! She did excellent for missing a nap and being in the midst of thousands of people. The day started out sunny and cool, but got down right cold as the day progressed and the sun disappeared. That's why the hood and hat came out. She really was too little to do anything other than look at all the people and eat snacks. She seemed to enjoy herself none the less.

More fun

We had a busy week with Grandpa and Mimi. Rather than working on a project all week, we took Adde to some places we thought she would enjoy. These pictures are from the children's museum and the zoo. In addition to all the people and children, she did find other things she enjoyed watching and doing at these places.

Beach Time

We spent another afternoon at the water park, but this time Grandpa and Mimi got to come. Addelynn decided today that she would rather crawl on the concrete surrounding the pool than crawl in the water. Who knows? She also had a slight incident when the camera case was taken away to go back in the water. Needless to say, we just left instead:)

Museum

She loved her first trip to the Children's Museum. She wanted to crawl everywhere and see things like the big kids. I did take a chance and take a few pictures (without a breakdown even) to document the event.

Water and Cameras

Apparently the two are not a great combination for any of us. Mark came along with us to the water park this time, and I was hopeful that I would get some good video footage of her in the water. But when she saw the camera, she charged straight for it and screamed when she did not get it. This happened several times, so we gave up for a while. When I finally got brave enough to get it out again and sneak up on her with it, I got sprayed in the face with a water sprayer. Thankfully the camera still works. So here is a little bit of footage of her loving the water (although she is not doing what she normally does). You can see the little jets that she normally charges through, but goes around them in this video. She also got her first taste of the slide. I'm sure now she will no longer be satisfied with just crawling around. Thanks daddy.

Naps

I love opening the door to find this.

10 Months

These pictures are getting harder and harder to do. This might even be the last month..we'll see. As soon as the camera comes out, she charges for it. Sitting still is no longer an option. So we got a few, but they aren't great.



The new things she's doing are:

• eating and loving meat pieces
• pulling herself up on everything. I have now become a jungle gym.
• crawling up stairs.
• intentionally throwing food off her tray that she does not want to eat.
• tipping the scales to 17 lbs. 8 oz. (height is around 28 inches - the measuring tape is a fun toy)
• constantly antagonizing Titus.
• saying the "t" sound and clicking her tongue on occasion.
  

Slip and Slide

The neighbors had us over this afternoon to play on their slip and slide. I decided to put her suit on because I knew she would not be content to just get her toes wet. Addelynn somewhat hogged the entire slip and slide and had to work on taking turns with the neighbor kids.
