A Beautiful Day....

Today was absolutely gorgeous. Sunny and 70 degrees with a nice breeze. It's definitely getting the time of year where you really start to treasure these days before they are gone. Addelynn napped in her stroller as we took a couple laps around the park.

Since it was such a beautiful day after we got back, Addelynn happily just sat in her stroller and watched Mark in the garage as he worked on his latest project (will try post pictures tomorrow). Obviously she's a bit young, but I hope that she can develop the mechanical aptitude that Jen and Mark learned while young when Dad was still remodeling the house.

Last night we went to small group as Addelynn's 2nd outing. Lana and I have been really good about both individually getting out of the house each day, but we really haven't taking Addelynn out much yet with the exception of our walks. Addelynn slept through the majority of it. However, on a funny note... our friend's 9 month old tried to raid Addelynn's food supply. He lunged after Lana, hands up in the air and mouth wide open. It was fairly funny.

The days go amazingly fast. We have really enjoyed this time at home for the three of us. I am really thankful of the 2 week paternity leave I get from work. It's been great to be home. Addelynn is still sleeping like a champ at night. I think she went 4 hours, then 5 hours last night. We feel very fortunate and hope this continues. She does tend to get a little grumpy late afternoon/early evening when she is in her "in-between state"; not able to decide if she wants to go to sleep or stay awake.

Here's some pictures we have so far from Week 2. You can see a bunch of her different facial expressing. We'll keep updating this album throughout the week.
