Rub A Dub Dub

It's Addelynn's first day in the tub! Last night Mark found a souvenir in her pajamas - her umbilical cord. We actually threw it away this morning as it was a disgusting souvenir. So with that finally gone, we were able to give her a "real" bath this morning. Surprisingly, she was actually pleasant during this experience and did not poop in the tub. The picture in the towel is pre-bath. We picked a time when she was in a good mood - right after a big feeding. She was wide eyed during it and only slightly fussy when Mark kept messing with her in the tub. My job was really just to take pictures of the experience.

As you can see from the pictures below, her belly is growing quite nicely and she is definitely filling out. You can tell that she is being well fed.

Nothing else big really happened today. It was cold and rainy
outside so we were not able to go on a walk today. I started reading "A Thousand Splendid Suns" to Addelynn today during feeding times. We'll see how long it takes to get through that book. I can read so many of her little books in one feeding. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer and we hope to maybe take her and the dog to Bunker for a walk.
